It was very "chocolate boxey" with a couple of pubs thrown in for good measure - each with very colourful hosts!

The village has its own community shop on the ground floor of the Dovecote in the photo.

The site (Arrow Bank Holiday Park) was very clean and tidy, excellent showers, etc and wi-fi - adults only though so wouldn't suit everyone.

Excellent stuff but seriously, 4hrs in an antiques fair? Oh, and didn't buy anything?

It WAS a massive fair but flipping cold on the outside stalls.

There's only so much tat you can look at. I did see that guy from Bargain Hunt (Tim somethingorother) being filmed for a future episode - hopefully he fond something to buy although I suspect they "plant" something in advance of filming.

Great pics, I've still got a key for those old boxes, wonder if it still fits. (I joined the AA when they rode around on sidecar combinations, and used to salute you! Happy days.) Laughing

Yep dogs allowed with a couple of fields cut round the edges just for dog walking. Boris had a great time.
