| Bluebell got a huge stonechip in her 2 month old paint work today. Right through to the metal. Looks like a sniper bullet. Sounded like and explosion. ________________________________________________________________________________ I am an Engineer. I will fix this!

| We had a busy week!
Wednesday down to Danbury in Yate for a full service and MOT, from there down to Devon with our kayaks to visit friends and (hopefully) have a paddle.
Weather not good so the kayaks stayed in the kombi and we had a cuppa at the beach instead.
Back to Reading on Friday and up early enough on Saturday to give Tallulah a wash, then on to the Kombi Konvoy. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| Needed to buy some sand, cement and crushed limestone. So it was great to have the camper back on the road after a 15 week lay-up over Winter. Just like old times. osg | |

| Morrison was in 'team bus' mode. Bike loaded by 7 am, parked up at Ardingly South of England Showground by 7:45 and then out for first sportive of the season - a gruelling 52 miles around Ashdown Forest. Lovely day out for the bus and me!! Got some nice comments about the 'bus' - shiny chrome, ideal vehicle, style! | |

| Had a frustrating call with Royal Mail after they failed to deliver my new brighter bulbs, but left one of their 'I touched your door with a feather, but you weren't in' red cards. I phoned Powerbulbs who said 'sorry about that' and then promptly put another set in the post to us Meanwhile, Royal Mail said their new 'leave it with a friend' service depends on the attitude of the individual postie and whether they want to leave it, "as it hasn't been agreed with the unions". I did tell him I didn't care whether the unions had agreed it or not and I wanted the service they were saying was available, not it being left to the whim of our postie (who seems to change every week now. | |
