What did you do to your VW today?

Great service from Matt and the team at Danbury today. It's blown a hole in my wallet, mind, but worth it for the piece of mind.

I've left Danbury with three different wheels and four different tyres. Wasn't expecting that when we set off yesterday.

I tore a strip off Mabel today, the strip being the gripper at the sliding door edge of the link. Sand from our weekly sojourns to the beach has slowly lifted and loosened it. Cleaned and refitted. The longest part of the job was deciding which glue to use but as far as the wife needs to know it was a mammoth task that justified me spending three hours pottering ...!

Took Tallulah for a spin over to Swinley Forest for an afternoon walk with friends. Lots of admiring looks as we pulled up in the carpark, lots of toots and waves on the way there and back.

She'll get a good clean and policy later this week ready for Volksworld at the weekend - the season is startng!

Looking good TimV. Matt black works well. Are those your original bumpers or do you have the white paint version safely stashed away? It'll be good to see how the wrap lasts/ages on exposed area.

They're the originals ie. white under the wrap ST.

I'm hoping the wrap may prove good at preventing stonechips.

No, just bright sunshine through the tree canopy gave it a subdued and 'dappled' effect.
