Drove to Winchester and back, yesterday, giving Bumble a good blast up and down the A31; she really does go well now!

Bought a new fridge today, to replace the pathetic excuse for a 'cool box' that she came with.

Hung the freshly laundered blinds and gave the interior a good clean for camping next week. Outside to clean now, not sure if my power snow foam may clash with actual snow though

Got back from our first weekend trip with Sulley, setting up the awning in the rain in a muddy field was fun .

Having cruised all the way back in Tango from Somerset, I forgot that I had opened the tailgate, and in the dark cut my head open on the door edge.

I feel your pain Tim, literally

I've spent the whole weekend banging my head using a step (for the kids) I don't need getting in and out. I don't have the hair to cover the cuts and marks so I look like I've been attacked or something.

I think there's more orange on me!!

Had it checked by the pharmacist - got those strip things across it now to stop my brain spilling out!  Thank you for your concern. x

Airbus1 prepped for MOT at Brand Autos tomorrow.

Installed a micro bypass to fool my radio that the handbrake is on now I have a fully functional radio and dvd player

Looks very nice

Completed a 3 day rewiring project.

Day 1 sorting out the DC supplies at the dash. I discovered a bodged connection from the cigar lighter supply in the dashboard that needed tidying (three wires in one crimp connector). Installed a beeper to warn me that I've left my lights on. Refitted the radio/CD player as it was wobbling about.

Day 2 and 3. Re-routed AC supplies and installed new AC outlets in the van, one on the buddy box, a double socket on the kitchen unit and an inverter to provide 300W AC from the leisure battery, enough to comfortably power a lap-top off grid.

Washed off all the Norfolk mud (there was plenty of it!) and then applied a layer of Meguirs. Job done.

Came home from Culzean Castle

Treated Scooby to a Meguiar's Wash, then a Mer Polish followed by a Meguiar's Wax - he doo look grand!

Finished just in time before the early afternoon April showers arrived

Drove it for the first time!!!

Plus gave her a wash and bug removal after the road trip.

Fitted the new fridge in Bumble and checked the electrics were working.

I now need to get the compressor properly positioned and the electrics properly connected, followed by a re-positioned and re-modelled shelf to go above it.

Drove back from Eskdale dubfest. On the way we mad a list of all the little things we need to get done.
