Subject: Re: Aero Wiper Blades Thu Mar 12, 2015 12:26 am
The last set of aero wiper blades I put on, I got from our local Indian supermarket for about £3.00 each, and they are still going strong after a year. Only problem was that I had to adapt them as they were designed to sweep in the opposite direction.
I bought some Bluecol ones at the end of last year, as backups, and just had a look at them tonight. (Can't remember where I bought them, but may have been Tesco or Range for about £7.00)
They come with 7 adaptors to fit various fitments, and it looks like by using 2 of them, they will fit. One has a 7mm bayonet fitting which fits into a base unit.
The part number is BLW616, and I found this on Amazon.
Whats the specification for the Halfords refill blades please?
they only have one choice of 16" refills there are 2 wiper rubbers with a choice of 2 widths of rubber blade carriers . We had to remove the rubber and re thread it into our existing wiper arm blade support.
the saga continues :- I sent back the original wiper blades that didn't have the correct fitting to wiperblades.co.uk (return post £12)original purchase price £24 was refunded £12 from the seller. really don't know why I bothered....doh! Just changed the Halfords refills ( there rubbish ) one really wet trip to Bristol and they were wornout/smearing. ( can't recommend them) Found some cheapies in BM . These judder across the screen ,however, they did come with a bayonet adaptor which I think will allow us to use aeroblades which have the single pin in the middle of the wiper arm. next plan try and buy some blucol ones as recommended by dizzy !!
Hello Could anyone please send me the adapter for the aero wiperblades with wiperblades to me to germany please? I would pay direktly with Paypal. All the best to you, Georg
