| Having largely missed the 2011 'summer' (only had the van 2 weeks) im keen to plan some music festivals for next year. Im favouring the smaller (grown up) folk/blues events like the Cambridge Folk Festival, Cropredy and/or knebworth/donnington
anyone a regular on the festival scene with their vans??

| Check out the Trowbridge Village Pump festival held in late July. Just celebrated its 38th year and probably fits the bill. Very enjoyable times!
We are checking out the "Blues in the Bay" event at Falmouth this year....October 7th and 8th.

| Hello all, We're new on here (collecting van tomorrow...eeeeeee!). For any Yorkshire/Northern folk, I just wanted to add that the Deershed festival near Thirsk is absolutely lovely. Fairly small but plenty going on, very family friendly but loads of fun for the grown-ups too, we had an absolutely beautiful time there last year. Right, off to try and contain myself some more | |

| Hi Pippy - Welcome to BVWB - I reckon your lovely new Kombi will be Green Good luck with the collection - and Tim usually asks people to get loads of pics from the first day/collection which get put up on here.
SJE -- The best Folk Fests that we go to are:
a) Priddy b) Wimborne - okay if you are in the area c) The Purbeck Festival - 1 week before Swanage - which is also good (great sessions in pubs) d) Dartymoor (Dartmoor) - truly splendid e) The Baring Gould Festival in Okehampton (October) f) Beautiful Days (Devon - Levellers Fest - Great selection of folk/rock/blues etc and a great comedy tent)
And loads of others as the mood takes us - probably going to do Towersey this year too (Oxford Way)
Cheers - Batty | |

| Hi Walmsleys OMG - How thick am I !! - What a muppet! I thought Pippy was talking about my festival reviews! LOL I'll just go back to sleep Green eh! - Will be interesting to see what shade of green - will it be any match for Skytigers incredible hue! It is a joy that there is such a vast spectrum of colours with our Kombi's - credit to Danbury (and private owners too) for that one - you can't call their colour range limited can you. Cheers - Batty | |

| Farm Fest nr Frome was a bit of a laugh last year, Sidmouth is always good with plenty to watch and listen to without buying anything but a few drinks, and the Isle of Wight festival is great although we've never actually camped on site, opting for a little more luxery (and peace) at a site a few miles away. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

HI captain, when you went to this you were about 15 mins walk from where I live. When it was on, I could sit in my garden with a pint listening in. I recollect it was cancelled last year, and they have now moved to a new site close to the Westbury white horse for this year. When the kids were younger I've spent many a happy day down at Stowford, with them swimming in the river, in the summer hols.
