Hey Guys
We bought Scooby with a number of "extras" already included
However, now that we are in to the "dark days" of the year we thought we might brighten him up a little
(not really a make over but it makes a suitable title)
The challenge was to be practical, economic, but with a splash of colour
There are a number of ideas we have not pursued as yet but here is the starter for ten . . .
We have a dark looking interior that needs some colour - see below
So lets introduce some colour via a couple of fleecy throws, add some pillows, and there you have it
We may need to consider some curtains next
When we have the pop top up we use the Danbury bed board for storage only - ie folded in half
We find the use of such space invalueable - chairs, table, luggage, clothes, ruck sack you name it
The bed board is however very heavy - try to lift it - so we thought we would remove it (help the mpg too)
It was replaced by a single chip board cut to size and painted - blue believe it or not
On the end we placed some foam pipe insulation to stop some of the "head banging" - we like all types of music
Now we can sleep under "blue skies" all the time - maybe some clouds or stars should be added!
These are clearly not earth shattering changes, they are very simple, but we like the improvement
