| hi all thanks timv for the welcome how did i miss this site not happy at the moment rear diffs ring and pinion all shot good news i can get parts bad news possibly 6 weeks waiting anyway at least i will get her back my camper green and white danbury air cooled 2006 called snowdrop (obviously) apart from my gearbox i have had various faults including the gearstick breaking off in my hand while pulling onto the A36 but i would not swap for anythig me and my missus have had some brilliant times its the happiest vehicle i have ever had it brings a smile to every body anybody had a trouble free camper from new by for now snowdrop xx | |

I dont think there is such a thing, there is always something that needs doing! I think you either have to have deep pockets or be prepared to get out there with the socket set, or ideally both! | |

| Welcome to the forum. As said, there will always be some kind of problem, but that's part of the charm. The other option of course is buy a T5 that looks like every other van on the road. | hi Brazilian bays are a lot less trouble than old vws I have had both

| Having owned old bays in the past I agree Dazdub.....They are a very simular vehicle to the braze bay but older technology...Everyone to their own though and most sensible fans just love VW's and the scene too... | |

| Hi from Aldershot. Eva is a 2006 air cooled camper and has been relatively trouble free since purchasing her a couple of years back - replaced both batteries but that's about it so far. | |
