BraziBay Video Shoot - date TBA - location TBA

Sounds definitive already doesn't it by the title?!

I was approached by a TV producer at Volksworld who's working on a project to put together a dvd about life with VW Campervans. Essentially they are looking for a group of 4 or 5 Kombis to meet at an agreed location, on an agreed date and film a load of short videos about the BraziBays and their owners.

This will take a day to do - so keep that in mind before you say yes - and the suggested dates from the TV company are as follows:

26th – 27th May
9th - 10th June
30th - 1st July
28th - 29th July

This is how the plan has been described to me in an email:

... the idea has escalated and, in addition to the detailed cutaways and interviews, we are now trying to recreate VW advertising style films and wondered whether a group of you would like to participate in a Brazilian Bay scenario. Filming for these vignettes would take one full day for all though, but familes would be welcome, if you wish.

Obviously there are lots of variables here particularly location and date, but for now if you're interested please reply so and indicate which of the above dates you would be free.

Sounds good, availability as folows:
26th – 27th May - available 26th but not 27th, Tallulah is booked for a wedding
9th - 10th June - camping in mid-Wales
16th - 17th June - Tallulah booked out for MotorGP Silverstone
30th - 1st July - Tallulah booked out for a trip to Sandy Balls
28th - 29th July - We're available!

Tallulah gets around doesn't she? Is she appearing at the Leveson Inquiry?

It wouldn't surprise me, but it's not on the calendar yet.... Maybe she needs a buddy....

We def cannot make the 28th/29th July (for ref. the Olympics is also on at this time)

16/17 June no longer an option according to the Producer.

We would be interested with Adie. She already thinks she,s famous as she is available on a range of t-shirts coasters and key rings thanks to an artist friend at Sheffield volkswagon owners club (VWOC).

Anyone else want to be involved? I'll be going back to the TV company in the next day or two.

I don't know how much use this is, given I haven't got mine yet, but subject to delivery being on time I'm currently free all of those dates. Only proviso is I'd have my two girls on 26, 27/5 and 30/6 1/7. Would be happy to pitch in as a newbie if that fits in. And obviously subject to location not being John O'Groats or similar

Ok thanks ll. My only concern would be your girls getting bored, filming can take a long time. If you reckon, subject to location, they'll be ok, then I'll add you in.

I get what you're saying but they've both done modelling and know about long photo shoots. I'd just have to make sure to bring stuff along to amuse as required.
