Went to Lulworth Cove today. Very busy VW-wise, with waves from T2s, T25s, and even a couple of T5s.

The cove was as I remembered it. A great place to go.

Walking along the coast is spectacular

Returning to the car park, Sunny thought she was seeing double

On the return trip Sunny picked up a tail, an '07 plated light blue Danbury, from Bridport to Axminster, where it turned off to go down the Lyme road.

If you keep going over the hill to the left you come to Mupes, well worth the hike and very nice if, like me, you like your beach with a bit of space around you.

About 20 mins drive from our front door.
Lovely spot but Tyneham is great too - open when the ranges are closed.

Currently at Ulwell Cottage campsite in Swanage. Today has been so wet. One of those days where there is really no choice but to sit in the van and drink tea/beer. At one point it was raining so hard it was dripping through the roof vent. Battening down the hatches for the 70 mph winds tonight. So glad we're not in a tent! In a strange sort of way it's actually good fun. Laughing
