I've been over to Oldham today to see a new trailer that is being launced tomorrow at Busfest. It's made by Retrolight who also own Dogs n Dubs. I wish Marc and Bev every success in their new venture. If you are going to the show pop over and see the trailer for yourself. I thought it was great and very retro stylish. Let me know what you think?
If you do a search on facebook for retrolight trailers the details are on there. Nicked this from Facebook
The launch price for the standard Retrolight Trailer will be £3895 and then we will go to our actual price on 1st Jan 2013 which will be £4295.
The standard trailer includes a choice of rear door options (hatchback, single side opening or double rear doors), a choice of over 200 RAL colours for the gel coat, high level brake light, LED cluster rear lights, rear fog light etc. The floor is finished with a non-slip coating.
There are also various optional extras (all priced individually) and these include 1, 2, 3 or 4 windows (sliders or static) in either aluminium frames or bonded style, spray painted unit to exactly match your towing vehicle, or roof only can be sprayed, air vent, braked chassis, interior furniture etc.
We will ask for for an initial minimum £1000 deposit (can be cash or direct bank transfer and I will have our bank details with us at Busfest) with further payments split over the production period and with the final payment due on collection. Lead time is approx 6-8 weeks and the trailers will be produced in order of...well, order LOL.
As you can appreciate with a new venture such as this, the lead time is an approximation but we won't sacrifice quality for speed
I laid in the back and it is really big. Not got much head height but you can easily sit up and would need ventilation if you were sleeping in there. Wasn't keen on the hatchback and would opt for the double barn doors on the back. You could go right to town and create a very special mini sleeper or just use it as a load hauler for the ever increasing junk . Marc mentioned that they had plans to do a pop top. He also mentioned that a spare wheel could fit on the front bar. Definately on my wish list. Would love to have the ability to sleep in and carry some bikes in.
Thank you for all the info. Not sure about sleeping in it but certainly as a storage device it ticks all the boxes and looks bigger than Danbury's Dan Bug. I'll keep a look out.

Looks very nice. If and when I get more outside space then I'd consider something like that. But with no garage or anywhere to keep it, any form of trailer is a no-no for me. As it is I've had to shoehorn my new motorbike into the front "garden".
It may appeal for a commercial venture. I would love a travelling vintage tea shop with bone china, the works. Could fit a lot into that trailer (tables and chairs etc) and serve from the T2.
I can dream..........!!
