| I was searching 'VW Camper' on eBay today, as I often do, and this appeared in the listings .... looks familiar www.tourcraft.co.uk http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/teardrop-caravan-camping-glamping-custom-hotrod-vw-camper-trailer-folding-tent-/140846792397?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item20cb1f7ecd#ht_2099wt_1397 £4995 if bought direct via eBay but if you go to their distributors, one of them is offering it for £3995. Bargain. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| As you say bargain - just don't tell Danbury!
I like the fact that they also have a range of accessories at really reasonable prices.
Very tempted.

| Quite like the look of this one, full of interesting features, (bed converts into a settee, and roof has solar panels etc in other vids) unfortunately doesn't answer the question if they are available in UK.
Prices between £8000 and £10,000

| Been looking at those recently (GIDGET)
Out of all I've viewed they are one of the better ones and at the moment with the dollar as it is i would think they are a good buy. Obviously there is shipping involved and im not too sure about duties and taxes etc, but they are quite innovative.
In fact i was thinking of inquiring on here if anyone knows of a really good manufacturer of teardrops in the UK as i have had talks with 2 manufacturers recently as i am wanting to start retailing them. But the problem arises that i cannot get them in volume as most of the manufacturers either produce them on a small bespoke scale or as a sideline to another main company.
So if anyone knows of a possible supplier for me, please let me have there contact details. ________________________________________________________________________________ Timmm

| Had a quick look on their facebook page, and as a rough guestimate it costs about £1700 for shipping to US, not sure how that would compare to UK. Due to high demand, delivery is about 6 months from time of order. | |

| Abs, i have bought a second hand one made by teardroptrailers. It really is great with a rear kitchen and a new blow up awning was thrown in with it as well.
We only gave £2500 inc the awning. Was going to have it wrapped but have decided to have a new one made now so will sell ours soon.
Dizzy, The GIDGET has really good write ups from everywhere but i think the company aren't as big as they portray, which seems to be the same for a lot of the manufacturers as ive found out. ________________________________________________________________________________ Timmm
