Been a very busy day today at Danbury with lots of press interviews regarding end of production . Check out ITV news tonight at 6.30 and BBC radio 5 live at 5.55... :-)

Shame not all the Kombi Koverage was as good, Jeremy Vine interviewing 'camper owner' Paddy O'Connell on Radio 2 was cringeworthy.

An interview with my 8 year old son would have won an award by comparison.

Jeremy vine show . We were stunned when we heard it .. Total mis information .. We even spoke with twice before the programme offering information but they said no thanks ..

I caught the VT package when it went out on News at Ten. Great stuff. Well done everyone who got involved today.

Don't know whether it was yesterdays coverage, but on the drive over to Bristol this morning, it wasn't just kombis waving, it was flashing lights and thumbs up from all and sundry,... not just VWs.

The British public do love a nice bay ;-)

Jo went out in our's yesterday and says she felt like a PR person for Danbury, Jason we need to discuss commission rates lol... Thought the guy from Bronte Campers on the BBC at 6.55 this morning was a bit condescending about the BraziBay or maybe I'm just over protective....

Someone needs to ask him how many panels and engine parts are still 'original'. Our Kombis are technically more 'original' VW than any older bus unless it has anything replaced.

Can't believe the amount of interest I've had today in Saunton car park. People seemed even more interested when I mentioned it was one of the Brazilian models

I guess that's because most of the coverage (Itv News excluded) hasn't actually included any Brazi Bays or interviews with owners, and all Radio 2 listeners are expecting to see engines in the front!!

That's kind of the reporting this country now does.. Usually totally inaccurate ! Lol

Well if the engine is in the front Scooby has a spare one at the back!  

The end of the line was here  on the news here in Turks and Caicos yesterday (On "this morning" broadcast from Miami) haven't seen any on the island yet!

So if my engine is in the back does that mean I have one of those "original" ones

I'm happy to report that despite all of the recent negative press coverage, EVERYONE we spoke to at Dubs in the Forest last weekend was fully accepting of our South American Kombis and were in fact more than a little jealous of our pristine paintwork and interior, not to mention our smooth running and excellent MPG and reliability.

Both the Brazi Bays in attendance joined the New Forest Cruise on Sunday morning with not so much as a splutter from any of the older air cooled variants, there was even a slight tussle to be following us due to the reduced smoke and pollution we emit!
