Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Captain. We will shortly be landing with a positive thump onto the VW scene with our very own club stand at The Volksworld Show on March 26th/27th. With 5 superb Kombis on display each day of the show, we’re really looking forward to spreading the word of the BraziBay. Despite the chilly temperatures, the Campervan season is well and truly ON.
As well as Volksworld being an opportunity for us to show off our new T2s, we’ll be available as a team to answer questions and offer advice to anyone thinking about moving up to a new or used Kombi. I’d like to thank everyone that has agreed to display their T2 and help out on the stand – it should be a lot of fun. In addition to the BraziBays we’ll have on show, we’ll have details of privately owned Kombis available for sale. No doubt as soon as people see how cool our buses are, they’ll be desperate to get their own! You may have noticed - lots of used BraziBays are coming up for sale now.
If you’re coming along to Sandown please do come and say hello – the club stand will be outside on the apron between the Grandstand and the racetrack. We’ll have coffee on continuous brew and Belgian Waffles under the grill.
There are going to be some premieres in the Kombi Nation at the Volksworld Show too – make sure you don’t miss them.
A week on from Sandown is Danbury Day at Yate, Saturday 2nd April. Jason and the crew are looking forward to welcoming as many members of Brazilian VW Bay.com as can make it for a BBQ, technical advice and discounted deals on parts and accessories. There will also be the opportunity to test drive a new T2 with their power steering kit. If you’re coming along please sign up in the Events section.
In June as we’re part of the ABVWC it would be great to get a line-up of Kombis together for its annual show – VW Expo on Sunday 5th in Henley-on-Thames. Again please sign up under the relevant post in Events.
Further ahead we’ve got a club camping zone at Camperjam 8th-10th July in Shropshire and we intend to make Campo Braziliano even bigger at this year’s Vanfest.
It’s looking good for the BraziBays in 2011.
