Vanfest 2010 - Friday 10th - Sunday 12th September 2010

The biggest annual gathering of Volkswagen Transporters at The Three Counties Showground in Great Malvern. We cannot have a camping area reserved for members of Brazilian VW Bay.com this year as we did not have club status in time to reserve for this year's show. However there is nothing to stop us all meeting nearby on the Friday and entering the showground as a group and therefore pitching together. Further details to follow but for now if you're interested in joining the pitch, please reply below with a) your username b) whether you are able to meet on the Friday to enter the showground as a group and c) if you have booked your tickets.

Update: Sept 1st

Group now meeting a few miles from the show at the Fusion Brasserie postcode WR7 4RJ at 6.45pm on Friday night. We'll then depart at 7.15pm to arrive together at Vanfest. Hopefully that will allow for enough of us BraziBayers to put our Volkswagens in a circle

hi tim yes ive bought tickets ill be there full w/end mate 3 aduilts 3 children doogle and 1 large tent buddy see you there .

As previous , we will be there. We have booked into FAMILY CAMPING, but I dont suppose make much diff if we relocate.
However as for entering together, we cannot arrive until late on friday.

It's a brill event cant wait as it will be real good for sure.
Went to the camperjam & that was fantastic all good weather etc.
I have just come back from 2 weeks in France ( Baritz / Salate / La Rochelle / Honflure / Etratat etc )
Had a great time I saw aprox 6 bays 6 T-25's 1 splitscreen pick-up & 1 Brazilian Bay.
It was green & white with a crome GB sighn & a Danbury badge on the back door.
Waved etc, when i was leaving the camperjam I recon I saw the same van parked in the day visitors area ??

If you're going to be arriving on the Friday can you give me an idea as to what time you will be getting to Malvern? If possible I'd like to get as many of us together so we can arrive en masse. I've looked for a local place for us to meet on Google and come up with this brasserie on the other side of the M5.

hi tim we wont be leaveing shropshire until around 5.30pm buddy so i would say its gonna take me around 2 hours to get to malvern with congestion on m5 going on the last 4 years experiance of me going to vanfest mate.oviosley being a friday has well.
