Use of Private Message function

Hi

As the Admin of the site I occasionally send a global private message when I want to disseminate what I regard to be important/useful information to our community. I try not to do this often.

Of late we've had a couple of instances of members using this function, albeit innocently, to ask a question or offer something. This isn't ideal. The best way is to post in the correct section of the forum.

There is an option within your Profile where you can choose to be notified by email of a private message in your forum inbox or not.
