I bloomin' love my van!

I've been working on a friend's Focus all day today - don't start me.

Then I was invited for dins round at my folks so I took Max and went "the long way round." I hadn't been out in the Bay at all today but Max fired up on cue and bombed along instantly. With my window down - radio off - the sound of the engine along with the evening sunshine was just magical.

Then on the way back I stopped for some fuel and a couple of people walked straight up and wanted to know all about Max. Made me feel very proud.

Sounds like a great little ride! I'd love to be able to ride in one of yous guyses buses (a little American slang- sorry)
I did a 440 mile (don't know what that translates to in klicks) this past weekend - Camping trip to Oklahoma- it was great and the '74 didn't miss a beat!
My freind with a '73 Adventurewagon and a 2.8L Chevy engine tagged along. He's going to do/help with my water-cooled swap.

What's an Adventurewagon?!!? Is it a spin on words? A little bit like my "SportsKombi!"

Let me see if I can figure how to post a pic. "I'll be back" in my best Arnold Swartzenneggar (or whatever) voice.

I've had to phone my insurance company once already to extend my limited mile coverage, might have to do it again as getting close to that limit as well.
All I want to do is drive around in mine as well.

Yeah, he get's all kinds of attention wherever he goes. Adventurewagon is a real- aftermarket- made- in- California- bus. There's still a few around.
