We have a lovely van called Betsy Blue and will share some pictures soon, but i need some help.
Fitted in the van is a wooden buddy seat, but we would like to make it more secure or replace the buddy seat for a more secure version with a seat belt (preferably three points).
Alternatively a clip in and out system for the seat to allow us more space, when not requiring a seat for an extra person ??
I can't be the only person who wants to do this......so any ideas or recommendations ???
I don't have an answer for you, I'm afraid, but have you tried searching "buddy seat" in the search option at the top? - the info you need may be in previous posts.

@pdjenks was after something like that earlier in the year.

Is the Buddy seat person a child? If so extra regs apply otherwise the belt has to have suitable fittings for the MOT.

Indeed if the buddy seat is going to be used as a travel position then it must be securely fitted to the body of the Kombi. The catches generally fitted to keep buddy seats in place would not be sufficient.
