| Tilly Thanks for the interesting and informative Vanfest report The Danbury that you mentioned, but you were unable to see, must be the << 'Project 1' T2 >> that is alluded to on their website. I'm very curious now to see that 'novel interior'
Jason - when can we see some pictures ??

| Went today had a great day was welcomed on the Danbury stand, they had some fine examples. Met kiteman and have to say your bus looks good in pics but amazing for real. Was a good day spent far too much ( that's what you get for taking the other half lol )
Managed to resolve the issue I had with curtain ordered at vanwest in may.
Went for a good run up in to the hills after and sat and had a brew looking over the three counties and all the buses.
Looking forward to the next meet

| Great show, lots to see and do, English weather 'soggy bit' in the middle, fun had by all.
Good to see some of the crew again, a few new goodies purchased and ideas under development.
Thanks to all for welcoming my in-laws even though they weren't in a Brazi (or even a VW!), to the AA man for getting us some petrol for the generator, and a special thanks to Danbury, see for our service next month.
Project 1 looks awesome!
Nuff said. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| I agree 100% with Bruce (Tilly). If we go as day visitors in future to Vanfest, we won't be going on the Friday as it was a bit of a rip off! There really were too many stands closed to warrant the price.
The best part was meeting up with those who'd already camped out, and it sounds like you had a good time.
We pulled up next to a one month old Brazi in the car park and had a good chat to the owner. I must get some forum cards from Tim next time I see him as I keep meeting new owners, telling them about the forum but have nothing to give them.
Until next year....Tony & Liz

| Hi Butten We were just along from the entrance to the VWT2OC camping area and the adjacent shower block On the map shown in the link below, at the bottom centre of the page, we were along the fence to the right roughly by the first disabled sign shown on the map in the VWT2OC area Hope this helps - sorry you missed us

| We had a great time, nice to meet Scooby and Tallullah, great spot for our first club pitch as well, close to the show and the event tent so we could listen to the music for free. Not so sure about the Michael jackson impersonator Saturday evening tho'?
Some great vehicles on display as usual, and I must say the Danbury Project 1 is awsome!!!! many thanks to Matt for letting Bailey sit inside and watch the huge TV, it really is a vehicle to see, just goes to show what can be done to a Brazibay!! It was getting some very positive comments from the 'die hard' dubbers as well. Sadly I didn't have my camera with me, and am waiting for my nephew to send me the pictures........

| Hey Guys - problem solved As it's late only a few words and some pics - Scooby now tired Well it was a good weekend some rain, some grey skies but some all important sun Great Bays and Great Company but at the start . . . Got there at 11.00am and took 30 mins to find our location Fully set up within the hour - where is everyone! Had lunch and looked around the show The Danbury Project 1 vehicle was awesome - see pics below Got back just before 3.00pm still no one Then Kiteman and Irishman arrived - they also had trouble finding the location Tallulah would follow on that evening Here are some pics of the setup - right next to the showers - what luxury Lilyvdub was camping the adjacent field in the VWT2OC area Tilly and Roobarb popped over to see us on the Friday - they were day visitors - see earlier posts Other Brazi Bays were around and Kiteman would investigat their Forum status in due course We were close to the entertainment marque so we got the sounds for free As dragons flew over head we sat around and chatted the evening away - with the odd drink or two Saturday morning and time to walk around the show again Here are a selection of pics which include some of the Show n Shine entrants and other campers we liked One for you Peppa On the way back to camp we took a pic of these two poles - useful in last pic of this post Back at Camp Braziliano we had a quick Chilli dinner before going out to see SLADE that evening The flag was still flying high the the strong winds all around Enjoyed Slade very much - Michael Jacson Tribute Guy on before not so much On Sunday after a full english breakfast at the site restuarant then it was off to see the last of the Show n Shine entrants before judging Had a long chat with a nice couple who had a fabulous Eriba and Bay combination - awesome Loved it By lunchtime we were ready to leave the show. Went back and packed up Only three now left Said our goodbyes and headed home via Malvern for a last look down on the show Camp Braziliano was to the left of the pic by the single storey brick building to the side of the large white entertainment marques - the two poles were further to the right with the traders even further to the right and nearer the camera. Enjoyed it all - hope this along with other posts helps to give a flavour to those who could not make it! ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |
