What did you do to your VW today?

Picked up a full sheet (8x4' / 1.2x2.4m) sheet of Celitex insulation and some smaller sheets of plaster board for a little decorating project at home.

The big sheet was snug.



Will need to take all the rubbish created to the tip at some point too.

I love how versatile our Kombis are

Indeed we put the bikes on the back, biked around Richmond Park, had lunch in our BraziBay and then picked up an old petrol lawn mower on the way home. Try that in a Ford Focus.

Oh and caused some smiles in the process!

Called round to see Jason today. Spent an enjoyable few hours watching him getting down and dirty with Ruby (waxoyling of course lol) . Great to meet up at last and planning a few more get togethers hopefully.

Drove home from Wales after a FAB weekend with Daz, Roobarb & LillyVdub!
Oh, and we had two bikes inside the Kombi - both there and back
(Ran out of time to fit the rack beofe we left Friday morning so we just put them inside)

Thursday 18th saw Ruby on display (washed and polished night before) outside the Something Different Action Cancer Shop, Lisburn Road Belfast. Our organisation had take over running the shop for the day on order to raise awareness and funds for a worthy cause. We were up against the likes if Utv, Barclays, M & S, Boots. Just to name a few. Ruby proved to be a great asset with many folk wiling to part with their cash in return for pictures taken sitting in front, back, wherever lol. By the end of the day we had raised over £4000 and are currently in 3rd place overall out of 14 business competitors. The final position will be decided on how much more income was generated over a normal business day and hopefully we may improve our ranking. Suffice to say there are many folk wanting to google Ian's VWKampers site wanting a Bay (sorry we couldn't get any t shirts out of him ! Maybe next time Ian. )

I'm guessing fairy lights for Tallulah? I bought yellow micro towels for Bumble at Decathlon and a tealight holder from Ikea. See you Sunday. Also drooled over a blue bay in for repairs in Wallington with hippy flower stickers.

We have already got our entry number so does that mean we have to go to hook road for the main convoy? We would be happy to join a Brazi bay convoy. We have the map which says which route all the non splitties have to take. Our ticket gives us a parking space . We are also camping. We would love to join you for lunch ( we are both veggie). Are you going to Ditf? You still owe us a Kombi Kuppa as promised on FB. Milk no sugar remember.

We're camping at Hook Road and will be in the main convoy however if we happen upon a Brazi Bay convoy we may be tempted to abscond, or indeed let you guys join in!
