Packed up Scooby after a FAB weekend at Dubs in the Forest.

Got home in two hours and then took 90mins to pack everthing away.

She's leaving home bye bye.... Don't panic - I'm not talking about Morrision We packed up Morrison this morning with daughter, boyfriend and all their gubbins for a one-way trip to Manchester where she starts work next Monday. Morrison will of course be trundling home tomorrow!

Was cleaning Ruby today and found this in the cab. Any ideas as to what it is please?

Went to Castle Ward (National Trust) Strangford, Northern Ireland over the weekend. Weather and Craic was fab.

Looks like an air vent lever that Danbury discard when they convert the dashboard.

I concur. Danbury used to remove all venting and controls when they convert lhd to rhd. These are the levers now removed.

Saturday, made three trips in dizzy to transport fence posts, arris rails, gravel boards, concrete etc and featheredge boarding.




to start rebuilding Pat's fence. Took two days just to get the old concrete out        b....y metposts!

First 40 feet done......only another 70 feet to go.....if my knees hold out    

Replaced a kinky rubber gas pipe.

Last weekend at DITF, I thought our gas had run out, so borrowed a kettle of hot water (thanks Bessy Blue).

When I went to change the bottle, I found the gas was still there, but the pipe had become kinked and in a couple of places was starting to wear.  So best to replace it.

The gas pipes (should) have a manufactured date stamped on them and should be changed at leat every 5 yrs I think in order to stay 'compliant'. Which reminds me, I need to check the date on Tallulahs.

Five years from manufacture on a rubber pipe and ten on the regulator.

Took Mabel to Danbury for a service and used the 20% off voucher Matt kindly gave out at the sleepover :-)

That's good news - we've got Neville booked in for December - we also had a 20% voucher from Matt - sadly we fall just outside the offer period - cos we only got Nev in June - and Danbury won't extend the offer at all

sounds a bit mean - You would have thought they would have entered into the Christmas spirit being a December service. Bah Humbug !

Took the clocks out to see if I can fit heater lever back in, but no framework behind it.
(Greased the wiper mechanism whilst there).

I have a Webasto heater with a diverter I need to put a Bowden cable on to.
Anyone done this before?
