2015 was a very exciting year for me!

As well as getting married I moved the 3 businesses that I own into custom made facilities in order that they could grow and provide the best possible experience for our customers. To that end owners and prospective owners of Classic VW campers, T5s and Brazilian T2 campers  can now benefit from the collective experience of myself and my dedicated team in one location.  

I'm really looking forward to 2016 and would like your help if you've been a customer of ours, by telling me what we've got right and what you think we could better. I'm all ears and whilst I hope for the majority it's been a positive experience, I realise there's always room for improvement.

Nightmare began on Wednesday this week, van broken down looked like the alternator was gone. Called VW Kampers and spoke to Dave he said he would check on spares and get back to me, he called back with bad news that nobody had any stock, they were on back order from Brazil.
He said to leave it with him, as good as his word called back Thursday he had tracked one down, too van into him on Friday morning, an hour later back on the road with nice new updated alternator.

Really appreciate Daves' efforts in finding a replacement, I'm a bit lost without my van as its a daily drive and I use it for work, so many thanks!

And Ian, love the new premises thanks for the tour!

When Betsy developed a small oil leak both Ian and Dave were great at resolving the problem. I keep meaning to speak to you direct and find out what magic Dave did or replaced!

I agree with Skooby and Tim. It's really difficult to find anybody to do service and repairs in the north. It's fine for anyone who lives within reach of VW Kampers, Danbury, Brand Autos, Litesteer etc, but for the rest of us it's really difficult to find good value quality service. I managed to find an independent garage owned by a T2/T25 enthusiast, but some air-cooled specialists tend to look down their noses at anything not built in Germany, let alone the heresy of being water-cooled. I would have thought that a partnership with one or more northern agents would help build your market in the north. You provided our van, and I would have loved for you to be able to service it, but a 500 mile round trip and an overnight stay is out of the question. Maybe a complimentary collect and return?

collect and return for a service sounds like a great idea........

I would echo all of this re a Northern outlet, I struggle every year to find reliable garages who will work on BraziBays in the north!

when you get your northern outfit can it be in Cheshire nice and easy for Crewe train station M6 and also well served by TPS who supply VW parts really helpful even got my thermostadt next day when everyone told me you can only get in brazil

plus you could recruit some of the guy from the workshop at Bentley who really know VW and their skills are high
