Really glad we managed to fix it. Its really hard to diagnose a fault remotely by e-mail and phone.

Like I said to you on the phone it will be really simple & obvious when you find it but until you do its really difficult.

I really like fault finding and it helped me to complete my understanding of the immboiliser system on our Kombis.

Trying a few bespoke options on a new exhaust

Took the awning and camping stuff to the school field and camped on the playing field. Although Stan had to sit outside in the carpark he got lots of admiring looks and comments!

Managed to wash, polish and wax Scooby this morning before the forecast lunchtime rain, thunder and lightning
Still his coat doo shine even in the wet
Roo b Roo

Checked oil - tick
Checked tyre pressures - tick
Tightened sliding door handle screws - tick
Tightened wing mirrors - tick
Leisure battery on charge - tick
Starter battery charged - tick
Clothes, food & drink all packed - tick
Wellies etc. packed - tick

Doo not forget wrist bands and club camping sticker

. . . and breath.

Only one more sleep to Camperjam  
Cannot wait

Got stuck on M25 on the way there - pedestrians on the road (when we passed the scene - with its 45 minute delay - it looked like a few people has been removed from the back of a lorry; the police were there, supervising). Apparently earlier on, the Dartford tunnel had also been closed and had been evacuated because of a fire!

Fitted a Beetle clock in to the empty clock space.
However, I found a loose wire under there. The fog light switch earth connection has broken.
Need a new switch now

We found a suitably sized battery clock in Asda, gave the white clock a lick of paint and dropped it in to place - see below - Scooby doo like things simple!  

Drove Moz across the Monegros Desert in Aragón, northeastern Spain. He said it was a bit like Brazil!

Max had a tune-up before his holiday!

Saw Feliz, Max and a poorly Brazibay at Paul Brand's yesterday, when I was having new rear springs put in my Passat.

The poorly Brazibay had had its engine removed and was looking very poorly

It was Betsy Blue looking poorly, but looked worse than it was!

We saw Feliz and Max there when we dropped Betsy off, so she was in good company. It made Paul Brands workshop feel like a club house for brazilianvwbay!!

Fitted a new custom made rug in the rear. Had to raise the fire extinguisher a cm to get it under but otherwise a simple job. The rug making company sent the wrong size at first & eventually got us the correct one so no point giving them a recommendation.

Used Dizzy as 'Dads Taxi' to deliver 4 adults, a little un and 4 suitcases to Southampton for start of a cruise after 6 hour round trip......(cruise ships are a bit bigger than my day   ).

I picked it up from Brand Autos. Service, MOT ( no advisories ) and new exhaust manifold gasket. Eddie no longer sounds like a tractor and instead has his aircooled purr back!

Said no to someone who tried buying Ronnie...Again!!!
