First outing of the year (naughty I know) Moved a bed from a friends house. Nothing glamorous but it gave him a good run out.

Dropped TL off to Paul Brand for service and MOT

Took Morrison to Paul Brand for full service & to visit TL !

Broke down called the AA, knackered starter motor again, braided connection rotted thru and only been on the van two years. Off to BrazillianKampers Monday for a new one.

Same happened to ours a short while back, got the start repaired and when I put it back in added a generous amount of lithium grease to the braided and other connections to protect them from the elements.

The repair/refurb cost £72 and it really did look as good as new. I did the removal and refitting myself.

Took Absinthe to Danbury for a service and to have a new aerial fitted.

Brilliant service from them today, and a lovely day in Bristol, thanks to their courtesy car. There may even be the first Blog of the year when we get back.

Btw, they've got loads of T2s in stock, the place was rammed with vans.

After emergency vet trips, sorting out car crisis and getting the VW MoTed (no probs), at last we had a day out in the sunny Welsh hills on Monday. Felt like we were using it as VW intended again. Hopefully in the Netherlands for Easter.

Fitted a replacement RHD accelerator extension cable.

Many thanks to Sean in Danbury parts for the swift delivery.

Picked up Scooby after having some rust issues looked at - looks all shiny and new now - good to have him back
