We had a very friendly wave from a Kombi as we drove to Martin's Haven on Weds 13th July. They got a slightly less friendly wave from us because we had just been stuffed for a parking ticket in Haverfordwest. Yes we had bought a ticket, yes we have appealed. It was the sort of thing that only happens to VW owners.

No, we just walked round the headland. We have been on the trip round the island a few years ago, and it would be really interesting to land. Our dog was on hols with us, and I wouldn't be sure if she has sea legs. She did manage the Welsh Highland Railway the previous week, which is another recommended Welsh trip.

Dogs are not allowed to land on the island but we allow them on the Dale Princess on round the island trips. I was there on Wednesday I work for the company that runs the princess picking up a captain and taking him out to a tanker To relieve the one on board. Tim

When we had Rebel Dog she went on the trip round Ramsey island with us. She was game for anything, and when we did Scottish ferries, she was first up the gang plank. We didn't get Skipper, our present dog, until she was nearly 4 as a rescue, and she does not have the same (over)confidence. We did win our parking ticket appeal.
