| Hi guys, I have been following the site since we placed an order for ‘Gloria’, reading everything I can to pick up tips and advice (great website), finally getting around to uploading some pictures! We took receipt of Gloria (after our Mum), a September ’16 registered bus in November. We opted for a roof rack, powered steering, full leather, swivel seat, new curtains and air conditioning (for Jessica and her coat!). I have always wanted a campervan – every time we saw someone driving one, we would say: “look at them, living the dream” followed by an envious “one day”……..then, one day I saw an advert for Danbury….! We are currently out and about every weekend at the moment – (not camping) just day tripping! Everywhere we go people smile and are genuinely interested in the bus and take photos. We love the bus and I am finding any excuse to go anywhere, just to drive. Speaking of loving it, Jessica our dog cannot hide her excitement from the moment she gets in it and we find it difficult to get her past the bus on the drive, waiting to get in! Took a bit of getting used to slowing down and motorway driving – furthest trip to Cornwall for two weeks at Christmas (400 mile round trip) is the furthest we have been and took a while! I still have lots of questions on the bus so will continue to read the guidance and topics on the site, very useful for beginners / new owners. So, here are a few pictures!        | |
