2010 New radiator grill

Has anyone out there got the new 2010 radiator grill fitted to your van. If so can you post an image to show us what it is like.

Tillys front grill is the new type.

Not a chance, I have both so it depends on the mood im in whether I go with the DWC or the Eastern European look. I just wanted to see what the difference in the grill looked like.

Surely you mean the 'South American' look...........

VW put a smoother look on the grille for the 2010 onwards model. It follows the contour lines of the front panel somewhat - dare I say - better.

(Covers head with tea tray to avoid objects being thrown in disgust)

Oh come on now peppa - I think you're being unnecessarily sensitive over this. It's entirely a personal choice and as with so many features of our cracking T2s it's a form of personalisation. It's great that Danbury had the insight to produce the DubTub as a nod to one of the classic looks of the T2. From a marketing point of view it means that customers not liking the evolution of the T2 with its watercooled engine can choose to have a traditional looking BraziBay.

Those that embrace the new - such as yourself and irishman - should be proud to show your smiley grilles.

It really doesn't bother me about whether an AquaBay has a bare grille or a DubTub. The fact is it's a Bay - and no amount of options/customisation change that.

Oi Tim, I hope 'Dubtub' is not the new official name.

Peppa, dont get so touchy, you choose your grill others differ....its all down to choice its nothing to do with being ashamed or it being a moral dilemma. Lifes too short

Surely the whole idea of having a bay is to give it that personal touch, I'm not a great lover of the front grill or the 'washing dummy dub box' for that matter, but I chose it beacause it's something that little bit different. Wouldn't change it for anything plus it's a lot easier to clean

'Mish's' 2008 grill for you to compare.... personally, however, your 'Brazilian' is finished off, you NEED to show it off!!

I agree but then that would not be an original spec would it Mark 2

Today, im mostly favoring 2007 grill.
The 2010 (unpainted) looks a bit T5 and thats not my bag ...
