Hi all 
After being newbees of owning a 1993 Brazilian or Mexican ? Bay last year we thort it would be good to get the professionals to have a good look over it  
Over the winter period, 

Our bay got shipped to the other side of the country from sunny Cornwall 
 up to 
vw aircooled works 
Lincolnshire 
So far work carried out 
New suspension 
Steering box overhaul 
New shoes & commercial tyres 
 bgms Up for sale 
Engine out 
Split charge system install 
New clutch 
Fire extinguisher fitted 
New fuel lines & missing firewall replaced 
Underside power washed scrubbed back 
Treated zinc coated 
Wax oiled in every cavity 
Full service 
& prob more work
I've forgot

Good news - just in time for the season to begin

Hi it looks great, may I be nosey and I wont be offended if you refuse to tell but how much did it all cost, I'm just thinking ahead a few years mine is an 09 watercooled.

Hi bob 
We bought the fire extinguisher kit from 
Aircooled works Lincolnshire up at bus fest last year 
& the plan was only just to fit it ,
Well iff you look at some of my other posts 
Enquiries about sloppy steering 
Bad fuel smells 
Ect 
Best give peter a shout at aircooled works 
As the only slot he had for us was Jan & July 
He's stacked up there wiv splits full restos 
To bay engine rebuilds ect 
He went over ours & gave a list of all things what he thort 
It needed & went from there
