| Anyone else had a completely ludicrous agreed valuation?
My bus is 2008 model watercooled. 15,000mls and full service history. It's in perfect condition bodily and mechanically.
Sent all the photos and documentation off to the insurers (Just Kampers) and they reckon it's worth £11,500!!
I can only assume they never check the market prices and use some algorithm to estimate the value. | |

| So, further to my Agreed Valuation woes - Just Kampers insurance won't increase their valuation because I've "not done any work on the vehicle" and therefore not increased its value! My argument that it didn't need any work doing to it fell on deaf ears.
Their final word was "take it to an independant garage and get a valuation, send it to us and we'll consider it"!
They had no interest in checking the market to get some idea of a realistic value and the fact that you probably couldn't buy a Brazzibay for £11,500. Grrr! | |

Go somewhere else..... Adrian Flux..... Lancaster ..... Still not sure why you've not just walked away?  There's many more insurers wanting your business:- Adrian Flux have offered me a great insurance deal today. I also have a really good price from Herts Insurance (who are the broker who do JK insurance IIRC). Tomorrow I'm going to talk to Carol Nash, the broker who has our existing insurance (Markerstudy) and who will (no doubt) want to keep our business against cheaper quotes from both Herts insurance and Adrian Flux.
