Subject: Steering lock Tue Jun 16, 2020 1:18 am
Hi all. I have a 2014 Brazilian Bay. We’ve had a number of camper vans stolen over the years, so I’m a bit concerned about security. Not paranoid. Well maybe a little! But concerned. I’ve got an alarm system, an immobiliser, a tracker and stickers on the windows saying that. Plus, saying that there is cctv recording. I bought a disklok supposedly for the same large type steering wheel, but it didn’t fit. Too small. Can anyone recommend what type steering wheel lock will fit? I realise that if anyone wants to steal my vehicle then they will do anything. Including using a low loader truck to do so. Not necessarily trying to drive it away. But I figure I may as well try to put them off as much as is humanly possible. Unfortunately I don’t have a drive or garage, so my beloved bus has to be parked on the street. To avoid a low loader stealing situation, I always park between cars. In first gear. With the wheels turned towards the kerb. (I was told that this was a good tip..) Anyway. I digress. What is the best and biggest steering wheel lock for my bay that I can/should buy? Thank you.
Hi New to the forum Following this trail with interest - taking ownership of a Brazilian van next Friday. I would be grateful for any advice re steering wheel lock...diskloc or stop-lock ??. The van will have a tracker. Any comments re an alarm ? Many thanks

Hi dfdgas,
you probably won't get many/any comments about security on this open forum, but people are happy to share via PM, as I will.
Depending on which camper you're getting and what size steering wheel it has, the following should fit:-
