Radiator fluid?

Hi

I did a quick search but found nothing about this.

Does anyone know the correct type of radiator fluid for a water coolled Brazilian from 2008?

We have a leaky radiator and need to top up. I'd never thought about this before but it seems there are different types of fluid and it seems to matter which you use. The VW polo owners manual says G13 for instance, I can't find any info on the van itself. We live in the Netherlands and I bought some stuff yesterday but it doesn't seem to say on the label what type it is, the alternative in the shop said G12, so I just bought the other one.

I know nothing about engines, any help would be hugely appreciated!

Not to worry, I found another thread and have since located the thing in the engine where it says 'G12'. Have since taken the wring fluid back to the shop and exchanged it for the right fluid, all looking good!
