E10 or E5 fuel Empty
PostSubject: E10 or E5 fuel   E10 or E5 fuel EmptyTue Sep 26, 2023 3:08 pm

Just had a call from the garage looking at my aircooled engine and was asked what fuel I use. I’m using standard unleaded E10 and he suggests I should only be using E5 as using E10 has caused my valve problems.

Have I missed something?

Sounds pretty unlikely, the only issues with E10 I'm aware of is that it can absorb moisture over time so can cause issues on unused vehicles and it can rot out rubber fuel lines.
