The KOMBI Sleepover 2014, Anita's Campsite, Banbury Fri 30th May - Sun 1st June

I'm working on the playlist for Saturday night at this year's Sleepover already. Totally mixed up this year throughout the night, bring your dancing shoes!

Really hope to make it again...we all had a great time last year. I am supposed to be working that weekend but I have relocated to Gloucestershire and so will get there for a day if not the whole weekend.

I am working on the rundown of this year's event, but in the meantime can I draw your attention to this earlier post of mine?  Specifically the request for stand ideas .... ta.

So, Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, the theme for this year's KOMBI Sleepover is going to be .....

           KARNIVAL!!            

What we're looking for now is ideas and offers of what type of stands/stalls you'd like to see at our KOMBI KARNIVAL.  We're talking chilli cook-offs, cocktail stands, fancy dress, ornaments, party gear ... just think Rio, colour, loud, stunning and crazy.  You get the picture I'm sure.   

Oh and yes, you guessed it, Saturday night is Mardi-Gras night!!

I'd better dig my fairy lights out of the loft.

.... been meaning to ask ... we have a table top football game - was thinking perhaps we could do a air vs aqua league ..We could even put an overlay of photo's for air and aqua's on the table to denote the 2 ends .... what do you think ? I would need some help with photo's of members prides and joys could even get quite a bit of use by the youngsters.????

There must be a way - Alison made some Xmas pudding flavoured popcorn at Xmas so it can't be impossible. Rum flavour sounds good to me.

Just to clarify, Tim. If we're successful in winning an EHU pitch do we pay after 1st May? If we're unsuccessful, do we then pay for a grass non EHU pitch?

I'm a little confused (no change there then!)

That's correct Abs. You place your bid with Scooby by May 1st. If you are successful in gaining an EHU pitch you pay me that figure, if not you just pay me for however many nights you want a grass pitch. There's no maximum - yet - on how many BraziBays we can have at the show.

If you're bidding for an EHU, and attending regardless of whether your bid succeeds, you may now book a grass pitch at the Sleepover and simply pay the extra for the EHU should you get one after May 1st.

Following on from Dennis's suggestion, we have decided to do Brazilian Karnival Kocktails! An alcoholic ( if allowed) and non alcoholic punch. Samba and hopefully sunshine!
