| Did you put a vent in the front for the compressor as it can get quite hot. Tim | |

Yes, the whole of the front is open as well as a strip at the top; in the pictures, I had just left the yellow bag sitting in front of the compressor, as we hadn't had a shelf above it to put anything on! The yellow bag is OK where it currently is when the fridge is off, but will need to go elsewhere, possibly on the shelf above. P.

| I seem to be missing a piece of fabric covered wood which is vee shaped just under the front gas struts. Will that cause any difficulties lining things up? | |

Will that cause any difficulties lining things up? shouldn't do, I fitted mine with the original latches still on to line them up and found some pictures online where danbury fitted the straps and based the position on those. the straps only just thread through the bars I went for but I wanted a neat close fit so it works for me, Danbury used a taller metal bar I think.

I took one of the screws out of the roof latches to get an idea of the length and for the width got the widest that would fit through the holes on the bars.

| [quote="Skytiger"]Drilled holes in the roof! Eeek! Attached an awning rail in an attempt to get our awning to fit better, had a wee trial run and it looks good so far! The test will be when we’re on holiday in a few weeks, I’ll do a write up when we get back to let you know if it was successful or not! Can you do an instructional on how to carry out the mod (it looks great). materials needed, measurements etc? Cheers | |
