Got another motor?

Tim sounds like a new thread cars we owned but should have kept, my regret is selling my 65 splitscreen camper for £50 back in the early 80"s..Good guess Tim but a 47 MGTC and an original 87 SJ 413.

I had to do the same as your parents in the 60's Tim, sad day. Only car I made a profit on, bought for £80.......sold for £120!

If you are on the MG register OSB, you probably knew my close neighbour Mike Hawke who sadly passed away in 2010, a true gentleman and lovely guy.

This was my first motor that I tinkered with. Toyota Hilux, lowered about 6 inches by 3 inch spacers between the axle and the leaf springs then heating the leaf springs with a blow torch to bend them and drop the other 3

what can I say ...it's midlife crisis so I bought a quad

& this is my daily transport (normally without the board inserted)

Great! I recently helped a work mate sort out a new car. Ended up getting him a DS3 HDi - very impressive little motor.
