Hi all - going to splash on a carpet set from Newton (RHD) - the difference between the two sets (standard and Full) seems to be that the Full set also covers the seat boxes - I don't know what they are -?
from the pics on the website the standard set looks like it will cover the pained wheel arches?
anyone have any pics of the standard / full actually installed ? cheers Steve

I can't be of any help but we've always been tempted to do away with the rubber and get a carpet set.

As far as I know the seat boxes ARE the painted wheel arches
having looked again at the pictures and the van, I believe the standard carpet set covers the painted main wheel arch (that you see when you open the door.)
I think the seat box is the large bracket that extends from inside either wheel arch (either side of the walk through section) that the seat bolts onto.
I guess there are lots of little bits of material that cover these brackets in the Full set.

The basic carpet set arrived yesterday and i am generally impressed. The front footwell mat could have been an extra half an inch deeper to get a snug fit though..
There are also carpet sections that cover the wheel arches with a nice rubber lip the hooks over the door edge lip, and replaces the plastic strips that come with the van.
Had to remove the front seats to complete this bit and cut the carpet to fit over the seat runner. Some finishing off to to , not sure whether to use the clips provided or just sone spots of adhesive to keep the carpets stable.
Pics to follow , or come and find me at brighton breeze (J800 SJE)
