Despite the change in ownership Danbury are still looking after our Brazibays.
Have just booked our next major service there for late April.
Sally their long-standing and excellent receptionist was leaving on the day that I rang.
Lucky to be able to wish her well in her new job.

That’s a shame, sally was a real asset. Kind of endorses my decision this year to get my van serviced elsewhere this year, it really isn’t the same as it was, unfortunately.

Just back from our major service at Yate. Also had change of gearbox oil and replacement for the failed gas struts on the tail-gate. And fix for tinny rattle on front o/s wheel.
Of the original staff there only Dan could be found - we were his first ever handover 11 years ago.
Camper running very smoothly all the way home.
The heavy rain on the motorway did show that we may need to use Tim's advice to tighten the nuts on the wiper-arm spindles to prevent leaks (search Wiper Arm Service)
New workshop manager Shaun (not sure of spelling) confirms that Danbury will continue to offer parts and service for our T2s
Alternative service arrangements nearer to home were being promised at Absolute VW in conjuction with VW Kampers. This would be a very welcome move but still no news about when this might begin.

Not sure whether the green flash on the message above relates to the news about Danbury or the news about a possible tie-up of Absolute VW with VWKampers.

Please Ian, at VWKampers, is there any progress on service becoming availabe at Absolute?

Simon at absolute vw already looks after a lot of customers for us.

Thet are very good and complete there work to the same standards as us as the same prices.
