ive been chatting to the garage selling the purple & blue van & they will spray it if I pay for the bottom half, they will pay for the top to be white... so im very interested. hoping to go view it at the weekend... ________________________________________________________________________________ maybe one day | |

Why don't you save yourself some cash and just get them to paint the lower half in a decent contrasting colour to the top - Royal Blue/Oxford Blue for instance? There aren't many BraziBays out there with their roofs colour-coded so it would make a nice change plus you'd have a unique Kombi. | I had thought about that.... as I like the blue top.. think I will have to talk to them & see if they will do something with the price of a lower half re-spray if I leave it blue... is there a colour chart on here where I can see what they look like??? or do you know where? | I think you'll also need to consider the interior when you look at a respray. Those seats are a mustard yellow which could end up clashing with some colours. | |

| In all honesty Adam, getting the top half repainted - properly - is a lot more invasive than painting the lower half, because all the windows need to come out. I'd stick with the blue up top and mix it up with something like one of the below:  Pic courtesy of North Devon Motorhomes. The mid section is similar to a legendary VW colour Sea Blue and the right panel similar to VW Orient Blue. The cab section is just darker to show what that might look like. Check thesamba.com technical section to see all the T2 colours over the years. | I've just realised that this Kombi must have been registered one before mine. The reg is WX06 FCO and Eddie's was WX06 FCP (before I changed it). They are practically related!
