It's an All-American theme to the KOMBI Sleepover this coming May!
We want you to get into that good old U.S. way of thinking about life with your BraziBay: large, bold and passionate!
As previously, our show is based at Anita's Campsite just outside Banbury, Oxfordshire.
On Friday we're going to have a traditional American night out. We'll start by firing up a couple of large barrel BBQs and cook burgers, hot dogs and fries. Once that's under way we'll be showing a couple of great movies projected onto a portable screen. First up it's one for our younger set '
Shark Tale' and then, one that everyone enjoys, that all-time classic '
Grease!' Choose your favourite character from either film and come along for the night dressed as them. You know you want to!
Friday night's food is being generously sponsored by our friends at
Litesteer. Simply bring along your crockery and cutlery and pick what your want from the grills. There will be popcorn to take along to the movies afterwards!
We're going to cook oven chips in closed BBQs this year – if you have a Cobb or similar that we could make use of to do this, please let us know. It would just be for the Friday night.
We anticipate food starting at 1830 and being served up to 2100. There's a poll currently running to indicate the meat/vegetarian mix.
From 10am on Saturday take a stroll down

Money Grabber game – it was so popular last year!
Brazilian Kampers will be pumping up their
Mega-Slide once again – it's a Sleepover must!
URmysunshine can enhance your look with their Temporary Tattoos.
Surwagenstan will have a Ten Pin Bowling Alley for you to try your luck on.
At noon
Scooby will be hosting their Disney based
Tunes from Toons Music Quiz. There will be a prize for the winner!
Matt from
Danbury Motorcaravans will be with us from Friday night and throughout Saturday and is ready for any technical questions you may have for him!
Now for this year's competitions!
Star KOMBI: Once again, every BraziBay attending is automatically entered for this. A voting form will be included in your welcome pack. Last year Harryhornet cruised away with the glass trophy in his campervan, who do you think it will be this year? This trophy is voted for by all members of brazilianvwbay.com present at The KOMBI Sleepover.
Spike's Trophy: named after one of our legendary members who sadly passed away last year. This is awarded to the owner of the BraziBay that captures the spirit of our show's theme best. This was also scooped up by Harryhornet in 2014. Can your Kombi get into US guise better this year? Judged by yours truly.
Then specific to this year and linking in with our theme, we want you to build an American car or campervan out of a cardboard box, which you'll enter into our
Drag Race at 2pm. The style is entirely down to you: Hot Rod, Street Racer, Custom or Classic, it just needs to be made out of a regular cardboard box, so you can wear it and run from one end of the field to the other! Display your creation at your Kombi throughout the morning so that we can get a vote from everyone as to who did best. Then get ready with your Pink Slips for the race after lunch. There's a terrific prize for the car voted best by you good folks - a Day Return Trip voucher from P&O Ferries for 1 vehicle and its occupants! There will be another prize for the winner of the
Drag Race!We're looking for volunteer
cheerleaders too to add to the atmosphere. Another opportunity to dress up Scooby?! I'm thinking this would be a fun thing for the juniors of our Brazibunch to get involved in. Let me know if anyone in your campervan can help.

BraziBay Auction will start at 5pm and this year is timed – for 60 minutes precisely – how much stuff can we get sold in 1 hour to raise funds for our club charity of Cancer Research? More details on how you can contribute to follow.
After a break for food back at your camper, it'll be time to get into your Disney gear for
Saturday Night at the Kombicabana. We've got 4 music sets to get through this year, 2 of which are being spun live by

On Sunday this year, our very own superheroes

Kombi Dog ShowThen sadly it'll be time to pack up and say goodbye.
All electric hook-ups are already allocated for this year so it will just be grass pitches for you to book. We'll start taking bookings from Monday 20th April. The cost per night per camper will be £18. As per the last few years, you book via brazilianvwbay.com and not with the campsite.
Really looking forward to seeing you there, as always, it's going to be friendly and a lot of fun!

IGNORE THE FIRST TURNING TO THE RIGHT - TAKE THE SECOND AS THIS IS NOW THE ENTRANCE UP TO THE CAMPSITE. FOLLOW THE ROAD UP INTO OUR FIELD. The code 2580 needs to be entered on the keypad found to the right of the second gate.
