The 3-way will be fine to use at the site electric point but won't fit in your engine bay if you ever needed to use it there.
That sounds like a recommendation for the 2-way Keith. Thinking about it, I suppose it enables you to daisy-chain 2 vans together to give more distance from the electric point.
I have both, exactly for that reason - at least I used to have both, managed to leave my 2-way at the site on Ile de Re.
I've just ordered some supplies to make up a new one, I can order extra and make one up for you if you want.
We've just bought a bell tent so I plan to run a daisy chain cable from the engine bay to the tent with a couple of 13a sockets (incl. RCD of course...).
That's very kind Keith, but it would be putting you to a lot of trouble. I can always order one off fleabay, they seem to be about £15.

The ticket has arrived along with a 15% off Just Kampers voucher. I'm not planning to use it so if you're thinking of making a purchase from them PM me and I'll send you the unique code.

I wonder if it's the same as my unique code.....?
I've just found another Just Kampers voucher in the package. So I now have 2 unique codes!

Clearly with my high level of technical knowledge I have no idea what you're talking about - other than the basic principle - but I know I haven't got one! (Not in yellow anyway) so will I need one for ditf and what do I actually need? Thankyou

It's one of these:

I think we have 14 vans at DITF so I presume we will need to have 7 of them between us.

I seem to remember there were about 13 in the brazibay camp so we may need a few. As Mrs Surfwagen is after some more stuff I may add one to our order.

I've got one too so don't buy anymore , sorry been out of the loop for a while , so many problems at work!!
It must be pretty tough at the moment, you deserve a break. I had arranged to buy one off Keith, and I think that Surfwagon Stan was going to get one, so as you say it sounds as if we are covered.

We definitely plan on being at Lytton Lawn a few days before DITF begins so will contact Dave in advance to see where he plans on pitching us all so we don't have to move once we're there...
We'll have our dog with us who's not very well. Over the bank holiday during a run along the beach she lost the use of her hind legs. We took her to the vet and after tests and x-rays she's been diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). She has a degenerative disc between her 5th-6th vertebrae causing lots of pain and swelling. She's been put on 4-6 weeks cage rest and as an extremely active dog it's very sad for us all seeing her in pain and mooching about.
She's regained enough mobility to walk around but she's not allowed to run or jump or do anything remotely active , we hope her condition is manageable with pain killers and anti-inflammatories.
We'll therefore be bringing the Khyam , dog cage , dog mattress , dog blankets , pain killlers just for starters... Should still be able to squeeze in some fancy dress , wine and cider too...
Looking forward to seeing you all soon for some well earned fun...

Oh no, poor Carra. Hope she starts to get more active again soon. Looking forward to DITF this year especially with so many of us there. Just hope the Indian Summer continues for a couple more weeks.
