Yep were there from mid afternoon tomorrow so fingers crossed all will be okay. Dave Dodge and some of the event organisers arriving too so will keep you well informed.. Am sure something will be sorted , thinking shared pitches could be an option if the sites health and safety permits , that's if flooding is as bad as is possibly being reported...

A few weeks ago they had some very bold pitches which I can only assumed would turn into a mud bath in heavy rain. (which there has been) As the site is on a slope I would hope it wouldn't be too bad.

Wellies definitely on list and head torches for arrival (Mrs Surfwagen is being picked up from work at 1630 and then we'll sit in traffic on the M3 for a few hours)

Hoping to hit the road at 4pm, as long as the traffics not too bad we should arrive 6-6:30.

Don't think we'll be there much before 7.30pm but depends on traffic.

This may be a side issue for many dubbers but could you find out if there are any plans to show the rugger on Saturday night. The site has a TV in the games room but I wondered if there will be DITF Rugby fan zone!!!!

I shall ask if it's on in the games room , if not there other options, I can get ITV on my TV in the van if it's on ITV so we can huddle around our van or am sure The Smugglers in Milford in Sea will have it on , I shall find out and report back...

We will be sharing six pitches but there should be plenty of room , pitches are damp but sun forecast for the rest of the week.. Dave only concerned about the event field as the entrance is pretty wet at the moment... Marquee arriving late tomorrow so fingers crossed site owner is happy that the event field can be used..

More updates to follow... We had lovely afternoon with Mr V which included a fish and chip supper and a ride in his very nice other motor...

Ok. Thanks. Bought a chock yesterday - note the problem there? Rookie error - who knew they didn't come in pairs. Will need to trawl back to Coventry tomorrow night now!!!

Great work. I know exactly where we are. Chocks are a must and a spirit level.

You don't need spirit levels!! Do it by sight!

The only spirit levels you need are ones for measuring gin, vodka, whisky .......

I have spirit level but Tim wouldn't let me use it.. Pack spirits use my level lol..
