| Hi, I'm just a few days away from taking possession of my first camper!! (photos to follow).
Sorry if this is a stupid question but has anyone tried putting a Large VW badge on the front of a water cooled T2 ?
My bus has a spare wheel on the back & I think it looks a bit strange having 2, so I wondered if a bigger VW badge on the front grill would give it a more retro look ?

| I'm sure it's possible. It just depends on what you're going to need to cover up underneath. What year is your BraziBay? ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| It a 2007, I probably should wait until I've actually got it and can have a good look myself before asking questions, but excitement gets the better of me!
I'm busy trawling the net for ideas while I wait for her to arrive ;-)

| I've got an old Watercooled grille at home. I'll take a look when I get home from work. I have a feeling there will be a hole left if removing the standard roundel. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| I have a white one as replaced earlier this year with a chrome effect one. (See profile pic.) If it's the right size you're welcome to it.

| Ok so you are going to have a hole to cover up. It's possible but you're going to have to put a backing on the new roundel and make it aesthetically pleasing!! ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Oh, yes. A bit more to it than I thought. Maybe not worth it. Thanks for looking. | |

| Perhaps you can fill in behind the larger VW badge with a circle of white plastic (perhaps with a few holes in it to assist the air flow?) disguising the existing badge hole. Personally I don't think it matters too much. As you will see it looks very nice already when you get your van up close and personal. ________________________________________________________________________________ what is best in life ?

| I did wonder about that, but I don't think it's worth all the work for a slightly bigger badge. Just getting carried away while waiting for it to arrive ! Mind you...... I might change the grill above the rad for a chrome one | |
