| Hi there, it Jane (Mrs Skytiger) and I'm testing the water for a future project with my class. I currently have P1 - now turning 5 year olds - and next year I'll be taking them on to P2. We have class mascots Louie, Pierre and Tilly, who go home at weekends with the kids and they bring them back on Monday and tell us all their weekend news. Parents also share what they do via our class twitter account - @MrsCrerar As I'm taking the same children on next year, I was thinking of different things I could do to change so the kids can get a different experience. So here's my thinking.... Would anyone be willing at some point to receive one of the class mascots and take them to work with them for a few days and send pictures to the class to tell them what the toy was up to? I thought this would be a great way to introduce the world of work on a wider scale. It would involve you taking pictures of the toy and hopefully tweeting them to class (or email of easier) and telling them a wee bit about what the toy was doing. Hopefully as a class we would have some questions that we would be able to ask about your job etc. As I say I'm testing the water just now but wondered if there would be any takers? The project would start August/September 2018. Thanks Jane p.s. apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place | |

| Ian works with nuclear power stations if that's of interest?
I'm a project manager so they may be a bit young to understand what that is! And it's a bit boring lol ________________________________________________________________________________

| We’d love to host the mascots. I work for the marketing team at Stannah Stairlifts and we can take them round lots of different functions including our factory where we make the lifts, our telecentre where we talk to customers and possibly take them out to meet some customers. We are currently involved in STEM projects, albeit with older children, but this would be a great addition to our activities. | |

| We'd be happy to have one of your mascots for a weeks work experience.
We are an architects practice and can show the kids our office along with construction sites. I'm sure we could put together a simple step by step project for them to relate to, from design ideas through to construction and finished project.
A couple of years ago we had a group of primary school children for half a day. We all had a great time and loved seeing the childrens uninhibited designs and ideas for their dream houses.
