Due to a change in Ben's start date - it looks like 3 of us will be attending Camperjam - me, Ben and Tango!!

hope you got Ben a ticket as they won’t sell them on the gate for weekend only pre ordered or a day pass

Sorry we cannot be there this year, just fancied something different, so we are off to Cornbury Festival this weekend.

Hi All.
Unfortunately we will not be at Camper Jam so will not get to meet you all. We are a bit gutted :-(
We were on our way and Merlot started smoking a lot and oil was spraying everywhere in the engine bay. Luckily we had only got about 15 miles from home and decided to turn back, driving very carefully (the carbon monoxide alarm beeping in the cab decided it for us!)
We took it to our local mechanic and he said we did the right thing. The oil was spraying over the engine and part of the exhaust and possibly would have ignited at some point.
Unfortunately we can’t offer anyone our wristbands and Camper Jam pass as we had to cut the bands off and peel the sticker off the windscreen :-(
Really sorry not to make it, but we tried.
We’ve now got to think positive.......
It didn’t catch fire, I have 4 days off work, we have LOTS of beer and cider to drink, the weather is sunny and we are only a short stroll from the beach, so we are going to make the best of a bad situation.
We hope the rest of you going have a great time and have a drink for us!

So sorry to hear this but better safe than sorry, you definitely did the right thing.
Fingers crossed the problem is easily resolved.

The weather is set fair for us all this weekend and we'll be having a few drinks ourselves wishing we were with our friends at CJ too.

Fantastic weekend - Charley and I enjoyed every moment of it!
Great to catch up with old friends and meet some new.
Not easy to get back into work mode this morning......
