Can you believe that our club will be 10 years old on 27th September of this year!?! How the years have flown and how proud I am to see so many of our members making lifelong friends and doing exactly what our BraziBays are there for - going on adventures!!
It's been 2 years since we've had our very own show, the KOMBI Sleepover, but it's time for the return and we're heading back to where it all began - Anita's Camping and Caravanning Park near Banbury, Oxfordshire.
For those who have never been to a Sleepover, Anita's is a terrific venue for our meet. We have exclusive use of a dedicated rally field, found within this lovely campsite. There are on-site showers, toilets and washing facilities. There's also a very well stocked shop. However I recommend you plan to use your Kombi to its max - bring food and cook it at your pitch in your campervan. There's a Tescos a short drive from the campsite where you can stock up, as well as refuel if needed.
Arrivals will start around 4pm on the Friday and we will wrap around lunchtime on the Sunday. This is a fabulous opportunity to get together and not only talk all things BraziBay, but also to put faces to those usernames you converse with throughout the year online.
The field has a few Electric Hook-Ups, 6 of which will be available for reservations, the rest of the field is simply flat grass.
You have the opportunity to determine the theme of this year's show by voting in the separate thread. The vote finishes on August 31st. Please make your mark!!
The show will feature some of our favourites from the last 10 years, including a vote for Star KOMBI and the awarding of Spike's Trophy to the campervan crew who embody our selected theme best over the weekend. Star KOMBI is voted for by all who attend. Spike's Trophy is chosen by yours truly and my son, Ben.
Booking will be via this website - details will be available later today/tomorrow.
Please make every effort to come - I know for many this will involve a long journey, however I, and the team, promise you a relaxed, happy time in the company of friendly folk who all just love their BraziBays! I'm sure those who have attended before will confirm this.
PS: Dogs are welcome at the meet.
Update: 21st August - Weekend rundown and how to book:
Here's the rundown of our celebration weekend folks ..... this is the plan and things will develop further once we have the theme decided. Decided by you! Have you voted yet?

You can choose to bake before, buy before, or bake en-pitch if you like - that old dog Scooby has been persuaded along with a couple of other hungry judges to sample all the offerings and decide our winner.
Meanwhile we can all put the coffee on and await the result, whilst decorating our BraziBays to reflect our chosen theme.
Whichever campervan and/or kombikrew encapsulate our chosen theme, will be awarded Spike's Trophy later in the day.
12pm - 2pm Lunch break
