Thought I might put this up on the forum. Was looking to add a fancy battery monitor instead of the push button one provided that will show two amber lights and a green when on hook up and then saw these.
Simple little dongle attaches to battery and a free app for your smartphone monitors the charge etc.
You can name your house and starter separately and see the charge, you can also see when you put stuff on, the draw happening.
on the app seems to be other stuff like charge history and usage and reminders to charge seems to be working great over the last couple of months or so.
You dont need to get out the tester you can stand by your vw and load the app and see what state they are in.
I bought two I think approx £26 each have seen them on the web as much as £39

Thanks for this post.
Got the ‘Battery-Guard’ from Amazon and connected it in a few minutes to our Leisure Battery. Planning to get one for our starter battery now as so good value and works so well.
