Ok so here's the rundown I know you've been waiting for!!  Here's the schedule for our meet this coming Sleepover.

Friday 30th September - Arrivals from 12 noon

The Kombicabana party tent will take place in the afternoon so volunteers to help with that will be appreciated.

Friday night is the regular meet-up/catch-up session where we will attempt to not have one too many that could affect our big Saturday!

Saturday 1st October

10am we hark back to those multicoloured Saturday mornings and have our very own Swap Shop.  This is the opportunity for you to bring those items that you no longer have a use for but know could be exactly what someone else is looking for.  Generally Camping related but it isn't fully restricted to that.  In fact we'll have a prize for the craziest item to be brought along looking for a swap.  Please note that this does not include humans or animals - that would be daft!  Feel free to dress up as Noel Edmonds, Maggie Philbin, Cheggers or John Craven as you wish.

This is the ideal opportunity for everyone to wander around and get to meet old friends and new whilst you peruse both their swaps and their camper set ups.

Noon - 2pm - break for lunch

2pm - Brazi Sports Day - our regular burst of energy(fish) - including the favourites - egg and spoon race, sack race, tug of war and culminating in a game of rounders.

4pm - break for afternoon tea

5pm - BraziPub Quiz - Beakyboy has very kindly volunteered to run our general knowledge quiz this year so get your teams ready.

6pm - break for dinner

8pm - our Saturday Night Party where this year it's the clash of two 70s/80s musical titans - ABBA v Fleetwood Mac!!!  Not compulsory but if you feel you wish to fully immerse yourselves into the experience with suitable costumes - then feel free!  This will take place in the party tent.  Party finishes at 12 midnight.

Sunday - breakfast, decamp and goodbyes.

How to book

This year I will coordinate the bookings.  The rally field at Anita's is a wide flat grassy area and can accommodate our event easily. 4 of the Electric Hook Up pitches will be used to run the event leaving 8 available to book.  EHU pitches can only be booked if you are staying for both the Friday and Saturday nights.  Grass pitches do not have that restriction.

I will shortly set up a Paypal button for folks to book their pitch which you will find here.

Prices:

Grass pitches: £20 per Kombi with 2 occupants per night.
Electric Hook-Up pitches £23 per Kombi with 2 occupants per night.
Additional adult occupants are £2 per adult per night. (18 years and over.)
There is no extra charge for awnings/canopies or additional vehicles.
Dogs are welcome - please ensure they use the dog pen for their 'business.'

Has anyone else had trouble booking Anita's for the Brazibay weekend? We've phoned twice and heard they are too busy to speak to anyone; and twice applied through their online portal and heard nothing. Today we rang again. First response was "call back later", so we did. Second response was that all rally field bookings go through the rally coordinator, not them (Tim?!) Bizarrely also we were told that there was no Brazibay event last year even though we remember being there

Folks I haven’t discussed the details with Anita’s yet about the weekend so we have yet to arrange how attendees will book in. Rest assured however that we have the rally field for September 30th to 2nd October. There’s plenty of room so we’ll all get in.

Everyone involved with camping and campervans are at peak at the moment so I’m not surprised about the responses or lack thereof.

No max number and you can book up to about the day before.

All EHU pitches sold out - just nice green grassy ones available now! Get booking - it's gonna be great!

Was so hoping to make it to another Sleepover but a family event clashes and we can't come now.

Stan’s just returned from Spain and booked his pitch!

Only 15 BraziBays booked in ...... I'm sure we can do A LOT better than that!! Remember this is THE annual meet for Kombi owners.
