Not for us where we can avoid it. I had thought that the novel '1984' was written as a warning against where civilisation might end up. Sadly rather than a warning it has been used as a recipe to reach all of the dire controls that it described. Restriction of language, removal of books from school libraries, back-ground war, thought crime, fake news, re-write of history etc. etc. Worth a read if you have time and can't find a VW magazine osg

I studied it for A-level and the film is a good watch too.
I think it's more about printing costs and the environmental aspects of physically printing material as opposed to restricting what you have access to.

We bought a BraziBay because we didn't want modernising. It seems that development always means it might be cheaper and easier to make but it certainly will not be as good. I'm going to shut up now! osg

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley is also worthy of a read if you appreciated 1984.
