Thanks! Same here. All well but maddeningly busy as always (the only variation is P. being away for most of the time since September for fieldwork, and me being away on the days he is back...  Hardly an improvement!). We would really like to try to get together with you, guys, one day in York for a proper catch up. Really curious, if you have tried your 'campervan cafe' idea since we last met?

No idea until the last minute I'm afraid...whoever isn't on hire, so statistically Jemima (blue)   

A few of the Northern Krew asked me about the Silverdale event at the weekend, so I've spoken to the site about booking.

You'll need to ring them individually (best in the evenings or weekends at the moment) to pay a deposit. The booking's in my name (Martin Bellamy) and they'll be expecting your calls. The number to ring is 01524 701736.

I think the cost is £13 per night (no hook ups available in our field I'm afraid) plus £3 per night for awnings. Dogs are £1 per night, regardless of whether they're the club mascot...

If you confirm when you've booked I'll amend the post on the first page.

It would be great to have a few new Northerners* to join us in Silverdale - I know you're out there.


*those from further afield are always more than welcome to visit the North (it's not really that grim...)
