Brazilian VW Bay.com 2012 Calendar Now On Sale

Hello all,

We are attempting to create our first ever Brazilian VW Bay.com year calendar filled with photographs of your Kombi’s.

We are looking for you to submit your favourite photographs as soon as possible for the 2012 calendar. All pictures must be in landscape as they will be cropped to an A4 ratio.

If you submit any pro photographs you need to have the permission of the original photographer. All photographs must be free of any copyrights or watermarks.

The pictures need to be as high resolution as possible to allow us to edit each image, and to allow for resizing without losing picture quality.

Preference will be given to originality, model (we want an equal mix of air cooled and water cooled), and how well they will print.

Please PM me for my personal email address, I'll send it back to you then so you can email photos back to me.

If you want to send multiple pictures, please send them through one at a time due to the file size of high resolution photographs.

If you have a preference as to what month you would like please specify that in the email. In the event of people wanting the same month the first name out of the hat wins.

Please send the photos sooner rather than later as we've not got much time until the new year.

One other quick note, can you please make sure your photos are as close to 300 dpi as possible.

Hopefully we won't have any printing issues then.

While you've got the pictures and the production process together, is it worth doing 2013 as well? That would enable you to sell the calendar at shows during the summer season next year. It might also help resolve any issues over who gets the month of May etc...... have a year each!

I think it may be a week or two yet, I'm still waiting for all of the photos to come through.

You've still got 14 sleeps until the new year , hopefully it won't go much longer than that.

I'm just waiting for the first one to come back from the printers and then we will be ready to go. Hopefully that should be with me within the next few days!

I've not gone as far as 2013 yet, we will have to see how successful Tim thinks this has been before we plan ahead.

Make sure you get snapping away though just in case

If it were deemed a success perhaps the second calendar could be for 18 months?
It could start in say July 2012 which gives 18 Kombis the chance to be a star for a month

Just a thought - but as you say Pasty lets see if it is a success first
